Poster/Branding – Quick Wits

I’ve volunteered to do some advertising materials for the local improv group, Quick Wits. I’ll post more materials here as I complete them. I like the direction so far. The idea is for the large, knocked out text to be replaced in a series of posters with sayings and inside jokes that circulate through this group’s shows. The poster readily admits that the saying is an inside joke, and hopefully, with your curiosity piqued, you’ll come to the show to get in on the joke. I am currently working on a form of branding, maybe more of a campaign for advertising Quick Wits which will include pamphlets/brochures, give-away coupons, business cards, things like that. Still working with the guy in charge on various aspects of things, so the pace is kind of dependent on the client with this one.

The cards: The final design isn’t decided on yet, but I’m liking the top right design best. The middle card is the back of them.

Here is the whole folder kit cover that is assembled for the guy who heads Quick Wits, minus the posters. It’s hand constructed and most pieces are not final products. They are designed for the client’s consideration and may change based on his input. He has been very difficult to get a hold of lately. I’m really quite pleased with the results of this. The project is still not quite complete, but I believe it is very close.
